Dr Fırat Tutal was born in Sakarya in 1979. After completing his primary and high school education in Sakarya, he graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He graduated from Dr Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2011 with a degree in general surgery. As a lecturer at Istanbul Aydın University, he taught surgery for four years.
He continued his professional development in France with courses on bariatric surgery and endoscopic obesity treatments. Since 2014, he has been specializing in Obesity and Metabolic surgery operations and has been a member of associations and organizations at home and abroad on this issue. Dr Fırat performs his profession in the light of up-to-date information with IFSO, TOSS, BMCD, and IBC memberships. Fırat Tutal continues to serve his patients at the Istanbul Metabolics clinic, which he has established himself.
